Work
A clipboard is the most careless channel on a machine. Passwords, tokens and one-time codes pass through it constantly, and syncing it between devices usually means handing all of that to a server with a promise attached.
Edward moves the content peer to peer and does the work that must happen outside the device inside a trusted execution environment, so what runs there can be attested rather than believed.
The point is the difference between those two verbs. A privacy policy asks for trust; an attestation lets the other side verify, which is the only version of the claim that survives the operator changing their mind.
